An opportunity is available for Consultant Anaesthetists to join a high-performing Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine service within a leading 783-bed tertiary hospital in metropolitan Western Australia.

Flexible appointment options are available including permanent, fixed-term, full-time, part-time, or sessional roles, with strong consultant support and a diverse, high-acuity clinical case mix.

The Role

• Deliver specialist anaesthesia and pain medicine services across a tertiary hospital setting
• Lead and support multidisciplinary clinical teams
• Provide supervision, teaching, and mentorship to junior doctors and trainees
• Contribute to service development, quality improvement, and clinical governance
• Support delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred perioperative care
• Work collaboratively across surgical, critical care, and allied health teams

What We’re Looking For

• Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists (or equivalent)
• Specialist registration (or eligibility) with AHPRA
• Strong clinical expertise across anaesthesia and perioperative medicine
• Commitment to teaching, supervision, and service improvement
• Ability to work effectively in a large tertiary multidisciplinary environment
